Regarding reports that three of the five Republicans on the Ohio Redistricting Commission say they played no role in designing state legislative maps adopted by the five-person GOP majority (”Three of five GOP members not involved in new maps,” Oct. 23), I’m really not sure that saying, in effect, “I didn’t actually do my job,” is the defense that Gov. Mike DeWine and Secretary of State Frank LaRose seem to think it is.
