The Toronto rap star has revealed he’s betting more than $1 million on the Los Angeles Rams to beat the Cincinnati Bengals Sunday night.
The Hotline Bling singer showed off his wagers to his 102 million Instagram followers Thursday night, which show he’s laying $600,000 on the line for the Rams to beat the Bengals. Drake is also betting big on Odell Beckham Jr. He’s got half-a-million on Beckham logging more than 62.5 receiving yards and another $500,000 on the Rams’ wide receiver having “over 0.5 anytime touchdown.”
“All bets are in on the family,” Drake said in the Instagram post where he shared the images of his Bitcoin-based wager as well as a pair of gloves that were given to him by Beckham. If all his guesses prove correct, Drake’s total payout could fetch him $2.9 million.

Beckham commented on the hip-hop star’s post, writing, “It’s time.”
When it comes to betting on the Super Bowl, fans can wager on just about anything, including MVP or whether the final result will end in a “scorigami” — which is when a game ends in a score that has never happened before.
But Drake favouring the Rams might end up dooming the team. In year’s past, the Grammy winner’s endorsement of sports teams has been unscientifically proven to show that they are headed for failure.
In 2019, he showed up during Game 4 of the NHL playoffs between Toronto and the Boston Bruins in Maple Leafs gear and guess what? The Leafs lost 6-4.
That same year, after Drake took a photo with Paris Saint-Germain’s Layvin Kurzawa, he was blamed for the soccer club’s 5-1 loss to Lille. As a result, Italy’s AS Roma banned its players from taking selfies with the Juno winner until after its season ended.

During the NCAA football playoffs in 2019, Drake publicly backed the University of Alabama and the team was throttled 44-16 by the Clemson Tigers.
Prior to that, he was in the stands cheering Serena Williams at the U.S. Open in 2015 when she was beaten by an unranked player. And when he trumpeted Conor McGregor, the MMA fighter was smashed by Khabib Nurmagomedov at UFC 236.
Drake himself is aware of the curse chatter. After the Raptors beat the Orlando Magic in the first round of the NBA playoffs in 2019, he quipped to reporters, “Want me to talk about the curse or you guys good?”
According to odds from Caesars Sportsbook, the Rams are four-point favourites to take home the Lombardi trophy Sunday night.
